Google Business Profile Integration

This page describes how East Dynasty Service Inc uses the Google Business Profile APIs, what permissions we request, and how business owners stay in control.

1. What This Integration Does

When a business owner grants us manager access to their Google Business Profile, our internal workspace can:

• Read business information, such as name, address, phone number, hours, and categories, so that our records match the live listing
• Create and publish posts, including updates, offers, and events, to the locations we manage
• Upload photographs that our staff has selected for those posts
• Schedule a post to be published at a specific date and local time
• Read performance metrics, such as impressions, website clicks, call clicks, and direction requests, so we can report results to the business owner

2. Permissions We Request

We request the OAuth scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage. This scope allows us to view and manage the business locations that the authorizing user already manages. We can only access locations that have granted us manager access. We cannot access any location we have not been authorized to manage.

3. Human Review Before Publishing

Content is not published automatically. Our workflow is:

1. A staff member drafts the post copy and selects the photograph for a specific location.
2. A second staff member reviews the content for accuracy, including services, prices, hours, and location details.
3. The content is submitted for publication or scheduled for a specific local publish time only after it has been approved.
4. The business owner may review, request changes to, block, or remove any post at any time.

We do not publish content that we know or reasonably believe to be false, misleading, or in violation of Google's policies.

4. What We Do Not Do

• We do not publish content without human review and approval
• We do not run automated or bulk posting to locations
• We do not use the APIs for scraping, spam, or unsolicited content
• We do not access any location that has not granted us authorization
• We do not use Google user data for advertising or for training machine learning or AI models
• We do not sell or share Google user data with third parties

5. Data Storage and Security

Data accessed through the APIs is stored in access-controlled systems accessible only to authorized staff. Access is granted on a least-privilege basis. Data is encrypted in transit. We retain API data only as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal and recordkeeping obligations.

6. Compliance

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

7. How to Revoke Access or Delete Data

Business owners may revoke our access at any time by removing us as a manager of their Business Profile, or through myaccount.google.com/permissions. To request deletion of data we hold, email info@eastdynastyserviceinc.com or visit our Data Deletion Instructions page.
